Circle of Life

I keep hearing about how theraputic it is to blog, a journal or diary you share with others. Well if that is the case, I could use that. (Isn't that what Facebook is for?)

Well let's just start with a recap from the last month or so. We lost Trevor's Dad, Mike and two weeks later we lost my Grandfather, Ed. It is so surreal to lose someone so unexpectedly like Mike, I don't think it has truly set it yet that is actually gone, forever. I say the words, and Trevor and I talk about it all the time, but it just doesn't seem real. I wonder when it will? How will Trevor and Laney (His Sister) will handle it?

This has truly been a year in which we have learned all about the circle of life. As I was putting together our family Christmas card this year, it dawned on me just how much "life" we experienced in this year. Pregnancy, Puppies, Birth, Death, and awaiting our neice anyday now. While at my grandfather's funeral we get a call from Laney that he labor may have started, and my dad said to me "It is the circle of life, We put Pop in the ground today, and another life starts". So true. And as hard as it may be for Trevor and Laney to deal with the death of their father, they have little lives to nuture, and must carry on.

So we carry on!
